CT scan good

Tiny bit smaller.

That’s what Diane said when she called Val with the news.

Every nine weeks there is another scan, and we hold our breath for a few days or weeks; and every time, every single time so far, the tumor slowly, slowly, slowly… recedes.  Reduces.  Unmakes itself.

Diane said it seems to be “stable.”  And a “tiny bit smaller.”

We take a deep breath, and slowly, slowly let it out.
