It’s hard to sort out chemo symptoms from cold symptoms, but it is looking like Val has a cold, after all.
She’s been having chills and small fevers. Her temperature regulation systems are out of whack; TerriSue says that could also/partially be the low neutragen levels. She’s got a runny nose, compounded by absent nose hairs. She feels tired and cruddy.
This morning she went in for a chest x-ray just in case. (Just in case fluids are building up in her lungs. Which her breathing does not indicate, being just somewhat congested in a normal-cold-sounding way. But we’d like peace of mind on the matter.)
Meanwhile the house is enormously steamed up from boiling water and various herbal concoctions all day. Tuley figured out that if she licked a window for a while she could see out again.
Love,
Deborah
