oxygen

Val’s been cooling her heels at the ER for over 6 hours and counting. They finally saw her around 9:00 and determined that yes, she could at this point benefit from oxygen. The current plan is for her to fly to Montana tomorrow, but it turns out the airlines require 48 hours’ notice and a whole buncha forms if someone plans to use oxygen in the air, so a host of folks are storming those gates: Liz is making phone calls, doctors are writing notes, people are downloading forms. Val hasn’t had a chance to pack yet or anything, having been at the ER the entire day. I swear the ER is sometimes the most grueling part of a health crisis.
